REDHEAD REPAIRS LIMITED WARRANTY

Workmanship Warranty

RedHead Repairs warrants workmanship performed by our technicians for a period of 90 days or 5,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the date of repair.

This warranty covers defects resulting directly from improper installation or workmanship performed by RedHead Repairs.

 

Parts Warranty

Parts supplied by RedHead Repairs are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only.

Warranty coverage, duration, and remedies vary by manufacturer and supplier.

RedHead Repairs will assist customers in processing valid warranty claims where possible.

 

What Is Covered

Examples include:

  • Loose fasteners resulting from installation error
  • Incorrectly installed components
  • Repairs that fail due to workmanship defects
  • Fluid leaks directly caused by our repair

 

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Used or customer-supplied parts
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Related component failures
  • Diagnostic time
  • Electrical faults occurring after repair that are unrelated to work performed
  • Vehicle abuse, neglect, racing, overloading, or off-road use
  • Damage caused by another repair facility
  • Towing, rental vehicles, loss of income, downtime, or consequential damages
  • Manufacturer defects in supplied parts

 

Customer-Supplied Parts

Customer-supplied parts carry no warranty whatsoever, expressed or implied.

RedHead Repairs warrants only the labour associated with installation for 30 days, provided the failure was caused by workmanship and not by the supplied part itself.

 

Used, Recycled, or Remanufactured Parts

Used, recycled, or remanufactured parts carry only the warranty provided by the supplier, if any.

No additional warranty is provided by RedHead Repairs.

 

Diagnostic Charges

Diagnostic procedures determine the cause of a problem but do not guarantee the condition of related components.

Diagnostic fees are non-refundable.

 

Warranty Claim Requirements

To make a warranty claim, customers must:

  1. Notify RedHead Repairs immediately upon discovering a concern.
  2. Cease operating the vehicle if continued operation may cause damage.
  3. Allow RedHead Repairs reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle before repairs are performed elsewhere.
  4. Provide the original invoice.

Failure to comply may void warranty coverage.

 

Limitation of Liability

RedHead Repairs’ maximum liability shall be limited to the original repair amount paid by the customer.

Under no circumstances shall RedHead Repairs be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including:

  • Lost wages
  • Loss of business
  • Vehicle rental costs
  • Towing charges
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Missed appointments

 

No Other Warranties

Except as specifically stated herein, no other warranties, express or implied.

 

Customer Acknowledgement

By authorizing repairs, the customer acknowledges they have read and accepted this warranty policy.
